When I am reading answers to my questions or other ppl's question and I see something that make me interested, I check out a person's profile page and if I think that that person would make a good contact then I will add them as a contact. At times I will have ppl wanting to add me, so I just look at their contact list and look over some of their questions and if I like what I see I accept.

If it's someone that I'm familiar with, someone that answers my questions or I answer theirs, then they usually are in right away!! If they have never answered any of my questions or I have never answered any of theirs then I question why they would want to be my contact and I usually hold off on them til I get to know them better!!

no qualifications at all....
sometimes if i think his/her question or answer is interesting...then i add them...
sometimes if i saw a question or answer that make no sense at all...i also add them
and sometimes i found a friend a real friend...that is why i'm them as my contacts...
there are so many posibilities
