Are the ones with 3 antennas faster?
I think wireless-N is capable of 4 antennas. But I haven't seen any for sale anywhere. Have you?

If more antennas = more speed. Will the future of wireless networking see routers for sale equipped with several dozen antennas transceiving at different frequencies?

More antennae=more simultaneous transfers. That does not necessarily equate to more speed.
I think we'll see a move in the silicon chips before we see an increase of antennae. There comes a point when offering more simultaneous transfers offers a diminished return in results.
I also predict we will see more efficient antennae, of the type that the commercial products use.

Its not the number, but the range, I installed a number of netgear antennas the size of a matchbox and they can cover a house with 6 floors and 14 rooms, lowest is 40%. also installed a few to link business in different buildingsa almost half mile apart.
