A=(pi)r2 <---radius squared

200(pi) = r2(pi)
200 = r2
r = square root of 200

area of a circle = (pi)*r^2 Circumference = 2 (pi) *r the place r= the radius. If the area is 36 pi squarecm, the radius would desire to be 6 cm--this is, the sq. root of (36*pi/pi) Plugging 6 into the formula for circumference makes the circumference 12 pi.

the area of a circle is:

A=pi x r²

If you know that the area is pi x 200 then your radius is the square root of 200.

A = π r ²
r ² = A / π
r = √ ( A / π)
r = √ (200 π / π)
r = √ 200
r = 10√2 cm
