If you like the Harvest Moon games, you'll love this. This game is just like Harvest Moon, in most ways. But you actually get to use weapons like swords and fight monsters. You can kill monsters in caves and once you kill them you can advance further into the cave. So it's like Harvest Moon with swords, I think you'll like it.

I like it well enough. It is very different than the last Harvest Moon for the DS though. The dungeon-exploring aspect is a very major part of the game, so you better have some interest in that before you play.

The combat angle is very nes-generation Zelda like, without the shield for defense. Basically all you can do is swing-swing-swing/dodge. About the only thing that really y breaks that up is running for the corner, eating something, then using the power gained to heal yourself.

Graphics are good for the DS, with a more realistic style than most HM games. Character development is kinda nice, everyone has a bit of back story and at least one secret or event to discover. Sound is ok, but the tiny snippets of voices are kinda annoying.

There are TWO diffient endings for RF. One is when you clear the final dungeon, after that you enter a sort of sand-box mode so you can try to get married. After you've been married for a year you get a second ending when your child is born. I am not sure if you continue in Sandbox mode after that, because I haven't gotten that far. (PS you CAN marry before the first ending, but one girl you can marry isn't avaiable till after it.)

This is a pretty good game, in my opinion. Has pretty much everything you'd expect in a Harvest Moon game, with fighting elements added on. The fighting is like your classic RPGs, with a Harvest Moon twist. Befriending monsters, and raising them on your farm as livestock. Some can even help out.

There is a pretty decent cast of characters in this one, and ofcourse there are the eligible bachelorettes. Though marrying some of them is not so simple in this one. Some have special requirments you must meet before they will marry you, other then getting their love level to the max.

Overall, it's an enjoyable game. If you like Harvest Moon and typical RPGs, then this one will be a perfect fit.

It's a great game. You get to do farming and not super easy but not imposibly hard fightin. The game does have an ending to it though (The RPG aspect at least). There aren't even 10 caves to go through, but it will take you atleast untill winter to clear the story line. After that life kind of just goes on.

I'd totally recomend it.

I don't know if it's out in australia, if not you could probably pre-order it though.
