I say that a lot when the news and other things irritate me, and sometimes I'm quite irritable.
Oh brother!
That's another handy one, along with:
I'll bet! (This is a reference to what the little girl says in "The Goodbye Girl". I use the same delivery.)

if i said mama mia? forget about it. i wouldnt say that bc i would look corny as hell being as im italian but not from italy. it would look all fake or somethin.
i would usually say HOLY SH*T or MOTHERF*CKER i think.

I usually say something in my parents native tongue, which is Flemish, that way no one knows if I am saying something "bad" . Also, that way if my granddaughter , who is 5, repeats it at school no one will have a clue.

I usually say "Holy crow!" or "Holy snot!" or "Holy flying hog monkeys!!!"
