I am writing a compare and contrast paper about films compared to theatre. In my paper i am saying why i believe theatre is better than films, and i would like to know how you feel about theatre and films! which do you prefer and why?? how do they make you feel emotionally?

Thank you

I love theatre. It is a wonderful experience because you get to be part of the magical moment, I consider theatre a live movie. The actors on the stage are way more talented than the ones onscreen because they have to perform live and always have their lines.

I believe the live performer on the stage makes a stronger impact than the image of a performer on a screen, no matter how big the screen. Movies are less formal and because of their size do not require the active participation of the theatre. For the greatest affirmation of theatre ever written, find Sidney Michaels' Preface to Dylan.
