okay, so me and my, uh, (sorry hate to label but, so you understand what i am talking about) "emo" freinds went to 7 11 right after school, so we still had our bags. we ot yelled at and was told we had to take them off and put them by the cash register. then some "preps" came with their back packs too, they didn't have to take theirs off!
they also shoulda had to take their packs off!
UGH! stereotypeism!!!!!!

i hate (i don't like to use the word hate because it's a tad too strong for my tastes.. but in this case) stereotyping and racism
as a young teen of color (asian) people easily see me as this "asian" or more so "korean" stereotype and judge things about me. just because all the other korean girls are like that doesn't mean i'm like that. i'm an individual :)
i try/tried really hard to keep this balance in my life. this scale that i live by. can't be too into being korean and forget about america (since i live here). and can't just forget about my culture.. this balance.. peaceful-ness of korean-american. hard for me anyways
i don't like to judge people/label people either. and i try not to because everyone is an individual
i think it's really bad that you guys got yelled at and the others didn't. it's a shame that people judge so quickly . definitely something the world needs to work on

That's dumb... I've had stereotypeism at my school. One time a friend got in trouble for cheating, but the principal just laughed it off when a popular jock got caught. It's stupid.

sorry to hear that. yes the world is pretty guilty of stereotyping it is so unfair. but how do you avoid it when you have fallen victim of crimes from certain kinds of people and other acts of unkindness? I wish people would change, it would be a nicer place if we could all be who we are and not stereotyped.
