This is also known as something to the 3rd power. In other words "2 cubed" or "2 to the third power" is 2x2x2 so 8. 3 cubed is 3x3x3 so 27, etc... Basically you just take whatever number you are given and to "cube it" you multiply it by itself 3 times.
By the way this is shown as the number you are given with the number three raised next to it on the right. Just in case you were asked how to write it as well :-) Good luck

It means that said number is to the power of 3.
Or multiplied by itself 3 times, for example
2 cubed is 8, 2 x 2 = 4 x 2= 8.
Hope this helped.

Means to the power of 3 for example: 5 to the power of 3 is not 5x3 it is actually 5x5x5 which equals 5x5=25 25x5= 125 so 5 to the power of 3 or 5 cubed answer is 125.

a number multiplied by itself and then multiplied by itself again.
4 cubed is 4x4 (=16)x4=64
or 5x5x5=125
I hope that helps.

To raise (a quantity or number) to the third power.
itself tmz itself tmz itself.
That's 3 selfs multiplied together.
One cubed is 1 x 1 x 1, which is 1.
1.01 cubed is 1.01 x 1.01 x 1.01, or 1.030301
0.99 cubed is 0.99 x 0.99 x 0.99 or 0.970299
-#'s cubed are still negative.
+#'s cubed are still plus.
