I want to be a belly dancer/harem girl for Halloween. But I'm in college and on a budget so I only want to spend like $30 total. Does anyone know where I can get either a full costume or components of a costume for that price??

Well, there's a great place called Mermaid Imports here in Anchorage. Their belly dancing stuff for the full costume is roughly $50, including head dress and jewelry. (a friend of mine is a professional belly dancer and that's where she buys her gear). But I guess it depends on where you live.

Try a thrift store or two. A lot of them carry saris and salwar sameezs, which look a lot like belly dancing clothing. They are usually hiding over by where they put the scrubs and graduation robes. good luck.
