I got tears Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I knew you were a beautiful soul.
I am an alcoholic-sober 13 years and twice I have had the privelege of watching someone that I 12-stepped make it and get that birthday medallion. Right now they both have eleven years. You just reminded me of why I keep going no matter what. Life does have some wonderful days and you know what? It always seems to be when you are giving to someone else. You just gave to me.

aw, that's so sweet!
hmm, I would have to say last weekend-- I broke up with someone-- even though I just started college and he is the only friend I have still in town, and even though it felt so wonderful to have someone, I realized that it was the right thing to do. he needs to learn how to make friends, and I need to figure out where I'm headed thus far. I was proud of myself because I really do love him, and it would be so easy to stay, but it had to be done and I did it.
haha, a second's flash of maturity in a lifetime's worth of bad decisions.

hm...the first thing that came to mind is the time when I got the back door to open on the bus a little while ago. It's a new bus, and the doors are all fancy-shmancy - you're supposed to put your hand on the yellow strip and it opens. Anyway, I always feel pretty excited when I can get the damn thing to open. And it hasn't been happening lately. :\ hahahah... how sad; that's all i can think of.

I really cleaned up the house for my wife, so she would have a nice place to come home to.
Too bad she complained about it.
(We are in the middle of a renovation and a nice piece of furniture was in the living room. I covered it with a towel so it didn;t get bashed up. She thought i had damaged it and threw a major league fit)

I'm an unfit 40 something Mum of 4 and I ran 3km for cancer research recently. It wore me out, but I puffed my chest out and felt really good about myself for having completed it! I raised £500 for charity!
You make mine sound like nothing, your achievement today was great! Good on you, you have every right to feel proud!

That is sooooooooo cool. I let the little old man behind me at checkout, who just had a pumpkin, go first, because I had a huge basket of groceries. It wasn't much, but it made me feel good to respect him like that.

I usually stick up for the underdog,, that is easy for me becuase I work with youth.
But you have me beat - what a rewarding thing that must have been. Good for you - you're gonna go to heaven for that one.
