What makes for a picture-perfect couple?

the fact that they are picture perfect should ring alarm bells.
there is no such thing as perfection.
besides, if you appear to be a picture-perfect couple, maybe it is just for appearances' sake.
i'd rather be real and stumbling and erring but learning than be picture perfect and hurting inside.

There is no such thing as a picture-perfect couple or picture-perfect life. I'm not saying that we're a bad couple, we're pair of two normal people like everyone is. Being the picture perfect girl or guy only exists in dreams becasue reality is a far cry from having a life without worries and hindrances.

Oh yes. Literally.
We once had a photo taken in a touristy area in Sydney called The Rocks. The studio was diffrenet, the camera was antique ------ one that was used in the early early days. We were made to wear costumes in the Victorian era, she in that very ornate ball gown, me in a tuxedo, complete with a hat and an old pair of eyeglasses. Came the shots and then we were shown "rushes". They looked lovely, in sepia. It seemed like we were transported back in time. Or it seemed like we were looking at old photos of our ancestors.
It was really, literally picture perfect. Those photos hang prominently in our living room ---- the interior design of which was made to match the era evoked by the photo.
What makes for a picture perfect couple? I think it is zest for life. And zest for each other, no matter that you are now both past 50.

All our friends have this to say "hey, guys, you look good together!" And on the dance floor, we do move as one. And if that's not enough, we harmonize well too - we're in the same church choir. Does that make us a picture-perfect couple? I honestly don't know coz we're still getting to know each other really. But on the surface, it would see like we are! Now, we're working on the substance.

My 'best half' [husband] is tall (6'1"), while I am of average height (5'5"). He is well built, and I am slim. He is rather dark, while I am fair-skinned. Sounds like a 'nowhere near a picture-perfect couple' doesn't it, dear ?
...But whenever we have posed together for photographs, everyone says that we both seem a 'made for each other' couple. And mentally, we both find ourselves thinking alike most of the time, and both of us are ever ready to discuss and solve any differences of opinion in private.

...I would say that we are a perfectly vibing couple !

Well nothing is perfect but I have a great relationship with my boyfriend. He's my best friend and the love of my life. You just need to trust the person, care about them, be there for them, ect.

I don't know about picture perfect. There is no couple like that.
We have been married 33 years, We have never cussed each other other, we don't call each other names, we have never hit one another.
We do have the normal spats over bills, but we get over it quickly, We talk it out find out what we are going to do about them and do it.
We share the house work, and we work together.
Yeah, We are both very lucky to have each other.

Being perfect is not only impossible but not good at all. You always have to leave room for improvement to make the relationship more challenging and exciting.

We definitely look good in pictures together, but are we compatible? We've fought like banshees throughout the history of us, but we've resolved most of them. We communicate better than most in most cases. And we're both from famously effed up families.
What makes?
A good sense of humor and the willingness to let it go when it isn't that important. Choose your battles. Some aren't worth fighting, they are petty and bothersome. And always be able to laugh at yourself.
