This is how I see people race against time: beating the red light, jumping the queue, run instead of walk, fly instead of cruise, etc etc.

Just visualizing the above makes me gasp for my breath, makes me really tired. And that makes me wonder - - what is the point in getting ahead when you get there tired and worn out. You will never enjoy the moment. You will most likely be dizzy with the speed to savor the first place finish.

If there's a specific time you are trying to beat, yeah, i guess you can "race against time." (lol) I do it all the time in my line of work where we have daily deadlines!
But it's very stressful, that's why i need a vacation now.

People need to chill and relax, too. There's more than one way to "take your time" and "stop and smell the roses." ^_^

why race against it? you should go with the flow and take some time off to appreciate the things God has given us.
