I'm freaking out! I've got 4 weeks of school left forever! My classes finish in 4 weeks then I have study leave until my exams on the 23rd November-28th November. It's my 18th birthday on the 22nd November. I feel like my childhood is coming to an end!
Next year I'm going to move out of home, to a new city where I don't really know very many people (I know about 5 people that live there that are my age).
I don't feel old enough to leave school! When I was younger I couldn't wait, but now I know that University isn't going to be easy and everything is changing. I'm excited about it, but scared at the same time!
How am I going to adjust to this? I've been going to school for the last 13 years and it'll all be over in 4 weeks!

No need to worry. Everybody goes through this - I'm from a rural part of Ireland and had to move to Dublin for university a few years ago, and never looked back. I love it here, have made new friends, and consider this home now. I didn't feel old enough to leave school either - I'm 23 now finishing off my Master's degree and believe me, I don't feel old enough for this either - pretty soon I'll have to go out into the big, bad world and get a job!
The important thing to do is to involve yourself with activities, societies etc in uni - you really do have to make an effort. And when you first start classes, just talk to the person beside you - chances are they're feeling the exact same way and are just too shy to make the first move.
Bottom line - don't worry. You WILL be fine. You have family and friends, and they're always just a phone call away if you ever do feel lonely.
You're entering a very exciting stage of your life - I'm so, so, so glad to be out of school, and you will be too. Relax, be confident, and be yourself. Good luck in your studies - what will you be studying, by the way?
Edit: H-Man - the Irish girl!
Edit: Again, I'm a girl, Dune. What is going on??

What you're feeeling is normal. It is frightening to face the future and the unknown. We enjoy the comfort and security of anything that is familiar but as we get older we yearn for something more. If we stayed in the same place (intellectually and physically)our entire life and did not face challenges and change we would live in a stagnate world with no growth or development. Sometimes we want to have both worlds at the same time.Take a deep breath and take the first step on your journey.Hopefully you wil have a lifetime filled with stimulation, emotional growth, challenge and change.Do not be afraid to face change but remember to treasure your experiences, good and bad, they are all a part of what makes you ...you.

Trust me, everyone has a moment of "Now what?!?" panic. It took me a couple years to get the hang of it all, but I know you pretty well, you're smarter than I was at your age. You'll get the hang of it in 6 months tops.
When you get there, find a support network as fast as you can, that helps. Join a few clubs, go to a church you like, go to AA meetings even if you don't drink just to meet people, anything that gets you to socialize quickly. I've seen too many people become hermits their first year or two out on their own at college.

Just remember when you were 18 and went to university for the first time. You were probably excited yet extremely nervous, and thought it was all coming so fast. Now look at you, you are ready to start your life. You've been through these feelings before, just take a deep breath, and when the time comes, the time comes. Start taking life day by day, and eventually you'll fall into a normal routine!
Edit-
LMAO WOOOOPS, LOL I swear I checked like 3 times...Yeah then don't listen to me.
