only on diesel engines you can do that its called bio diesel it is expensive but will pay off in the long run just buy a machine and then look for some used cooking oil buy the chemicals and fillerup it will take a while to pay for it self but it will quickly

Not a gas engine, ...My Man...it will take several expensive modifications to make a diesel to run off of that.
Hey Kids...don't think your gonna cruise yer ole mans diesel truck stealing your moms french fry oil for fuel...He will be much disappointed in your stupididy and ask for paternity tests.

A gasoline engine will not run on cooking oil. You can convert a diesel to run on it though.

If it is a diesel engine it will work, otherwise you will screw up your motor. If it is deisel you won;'t need to make any modifications. Make sure you drain it well,you don't want any french fries floating around!! and you will have a clean burning alternative to gasoline, not to mention free!!

it would take like 23:1 compression to do that...... good luck getting your gasoline engine to a compression level like that... this is possible on diesels because they are already at approx. 19:1 compression and designed to run on a similar fuel. its not as big a step up for a diesel....

if you can get the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to certify the pollution control then you can do this. GOOD LUCK. Hope there are cooking oil fill up stations where ever you choose to drive.
