A very strange creature indeed...virtually everyone would like to create one, but many people seldom use one, yet almost everyone keeps them around the house, often in massive quantities.

It can be the most beautiful, fascinating thing in the world... It can take you to other lands, and allows you to experience things you couldn't possibly experience in your ordinary little life. Of course, there are times when it simply leaves you feeling numbed with boredom, and it keeps you away from other books for some time.
