My daughter is being RUBY (from the max and ruby cartoon on treehouse) gor halloween, and now my son wants to be MAX. It was easy to make the RUBY costume because she wears a dress, but MAX wears overalls, and I don't know how to make pants. I just need a site that sells patterns for them or a site with a MAX halloween costume. Please Help, not long til Halloween!!

Why not just get a pair of denim overalls and a striped shirt? If the overalls don't have a pocket in front, you could applique one on with a little red hankie sticking out.

well, I'm not gonna say that I NEVER dress "whore-ish" but I do have self respect, and my goal in life is not to dress like a whore every day, unlike many other girls. I dont understand the whole halloween thing either. At school girls idea of a costume is mouse ears, the SHORTEST skirt possible, with a low cut belly button top, OR a pink tutu with no leggings, and the tutu doesn't hide your ***, with some fairy wings. It's ridicoulous. I agree. It's not appealing, it's just embarrasing, and disrespecting yourself.

Go to your local material shop and look at the patterns in the pattern section - you're sure to find something to suit.
