FirstI would bring up the subject of taking baths and using deodorants as a hint. If the person didn't take the hint, then I would ask my supervisor to speak to him/her.

if you are friends i would bring it up carefully. ask them how they would handle telling someone else.
if you arem't close i would let management or HR handle it. just let management know and they should do it discreetly
