In general it is good. Why? Because undocumented immigrants take jobs that most americans would not take. Example working on fields collecting fruit, tell me who would pick up those fruits if weren't for them?
Oh about illegal immigrants not paying for taxes. Most of them do pay for taxes believe it or not.
They get money taking too when they go change there check and others do pay for taxes the same way we do.
About illegal immigrants comminting crimes of course there is going to be crime. Why? There is no such thing as a perfect society! Tell me is there such thing as a white, black, asians society that does not commit crimes? The answer is NOOOOO! So why expect an illegal immigrants community that does not commit crimes!
And lastly, how can ppl consider a human being illegal! It does not make any sense.

Just to start, I have no problem with people seeking to achieve the “American Dream”. I just think it is polite to sign the guest book when entering a private party…
There is a HUGE amount of proof from around the globe that prove that when there are HUGE amounts of cheep and plentiful labor the technology and advances that come from being in a pinch don’t take place and it hinders all of society.
I have a perfect example of this…
In Australia they grow grapes.
They grow grapes for both Wine and the production of Raisins.
Australia, if you don’t know, is an island… They do not have access to huge quantities of cheep and plentiful labor so when they faced a labor shortage and a huge rise in costs they had to stop, take a step back, and FIGURE OUT A WAY TO COPE.
Because they had to stop, think, and develop new techniques and technology they not only figured out how to grow the vines more productively but they also developed both a technique on how to dry the grapes right on the vine and machines to harvest the ready-to-pack product.
If they had 1000 Mexicans or Polish that would work for $3.00 an hour they would still be wasting water, soil productivity, profits, and, most importantly of all, they would be USING the laborers and holding both the people they are exploiting back and the company itself.
When you are put in a crunch you need to become creative and inventive…
In the last 20+ years the United States has been slowly falling behind in EVERYTHING but in agriculture specifically…
We could grow at least a third more with the land we have if we were not so dependant on “Migrant Workers”.
We would have the same incentive to expand our knowledge and our technology that the rest of the world that lacks innumerable “Disposable” labor has!
The PEOPLE are not the problem per-se… They are just trying to make a living… And the companies are just doing what they do when there is an abundance of people willing to work for cheep… It is the fault of the SYSTEM that has found its comfort level and has become so lazy with the Status-Quo that has worked for years that they are finding movement and change hard to cope with…
Especially since it means spending more on something that they don’t NECESSARILY need to do to keep with their current production levels.
If either side stops independently of the other and says “It’s time for change” then they raise public outrage!
If the Companies that hire the laborers cheep stop hiring them then everyone screams “They are not hiring them because they are *Mexican or *Polish or *Irish or *Indian or whatever the nationality of the month is”.
If the people stop working and demand a real wage and better technology then the companies scream “They are just trying to take advantage.” Or “They are getting uppity!” Or “They are trying to unionize and this is a non union state!!” Or a thousand other things that all boil down to “We don’t want to spend because they set the price and it is better then what they would get across the border”.
Just as how it takes BOTH SIDES to keep the status-quo it will take BOTH SIDES to make a change that will benefit EVERYONE in the long run.
It boils down to Supply and Demand.
Comfort and Discomfort.
Profit or Loss.
Yes, these are human beings we are talking about but when it gets boiled down in the long run it always becomes one group vs. another.
If we humanize the situation too much we lose perspective and without perspective we get bogged down in emotions that serve no one.
Take a step back and look at the big picture… You will be shocked at what you really see…

We as a society are dependent on each other for taxes, and contributing to the whole of the population. Undocumented persons throw the economy off .Drugs are more prominent because it is income that is undocumented. Illegal activities are more prominent as a source of income. This causes prison overpopulation and a larger strain on the economy. The census of America is not accurate and the government can not represent millions of persons who are not in our census. Job training is not available for these persons unless they use the opportunity of The Dream Act which attempts to assist some illegals in obtaining citizenship. It is a strain on the economical and financial intrastructure as added police and welfare workers are needed to implement some type of structure to ID and tax income. Schools are struggling to meet the needs of the communities. These are some problems. What do you think?

No such thing as an "undocumented immigrant."
Just criminals in this country in violation of international law. As for the effect, you only need research court records and public assistance volumes to answer your own question. Hold the door for elders, give you a break in traffic, stop and help you change a flat, give a hand out to the poor, volunteer at hospitals, give blood for free, work the voting polls, work as volunteer fireman, coach a team, who do you see doing these things?
Doesn't matter, when enough is enough it will all be resolved.

for the most part immigrants are hard working and industrious.
that minority that engage in criminal activities are extremely violent.
soon more and more law abiding citizens wil be impacted by the extreme crimes carried out by immigrants.
two weeks ago in los angeles on alvarodo street, an immigrant gang member went to collect insurance protection premiums (extortion money). one merchant refused to pay and was shot in the chest at point blank range. a two month child was also killed.
in the california state prison, most of the prisoners are immigrant. from prison they run criminal enterprises statewide and nationwide, this includes arranged murders against other races.

They drive down wages, which is supposed to curb inflation in theory (not that I complete agree with that theory of inflation).
They are blamed for straining public eduaction because we have to educate their kids (which I dont buy either, public school was underfunded before the immigrants came)
Also attributed with the use of public resources such as public assistance, ect. which we all know is a bunch of bull because you can't get anything from the government without documents.
