All fats (all lipids) contain CHO - carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. I just have my students call it "cho" pronounced as a word so they can remember the three elements by only actually remembering one word.

carbohydrates - CHO
lipids - CHO
proteins - CHONS
nucleic acids - CHONP
