why is my stomach so big at only 9 weeks??

Is this your first child? If it isn't, you will look bigger, earlier than you did the first time because those muscles, etc., already stretched once and they will stretch faster the second (or third, etc.) time around.

If it's your first, I wouldn't expect too much size change at only 9 weeks (fetus is pretty tiny at 9 weeks). Is your stomach just looking different or have you gained a lot of weight already?
