I think Grady is most definately a boy's name. I think it would be one of those names that when other children, parents, and teachers sees it listed on something they would think it's a boy and then be shocked to find out that it's a girl. If you do go with the name Grady (all variation spellings of the name are also boys names) I hope you will consider a variation spelling such as Gradee, Gradey, or Gradie and I hope that you will give the child a very feminine middle name as someone else mentioned in the event that the child gets to a certain age and hates her first name, she can go by her second name.

It's different, not my style, but you have to go with what you & your spouse agree on... I would spell it Gradie or Gradee..
It could be cute if you put it with sweet name like
Gradie Rose.
Gradie Renee
Gradie Adison
Gradie Riley
Good luck:
God Bless you & your little one...

Grady sounds like a boy. Pick a strictly girl name for your girl. A gender neutral name is hard to deal with.

Grady is a fun name, but it does sound somewhat masculine. Then again it is becoming more common for girls to have masculine names. I agree that it should be spelled Gradie, just so that teachers know that she is a she when they take role. I say go for it. Hope this helps.

not a bad name. i think it's a lil more of a boy name, but girls can tend to pull off boy names more than boys w/ girl names.

i dont like the spelling Gradie though, it reminds of Gerdie.

use a really feminine middle name and it would be pretty.

Sure. I like it for a boy or girl. Putting it with a feminine middle name would sound good like Grady Victoria or Grady Alyssa.
