I think they should, depending on what war it is. If it's over land or oil or something like that, then it's just stupid. Also, if they are standing up for their beliefs and trying to convert people, it's also a good cause, if they don't decide to KILL the persons they are trying to convert for not believing.
Okay, I'll give you an example of a war that Christians and many other sorts of people HAD to stand up for, and not just sit back, watch, and claim that war is useless:
One word:
Hitler
What would be happening now if no one had EVER wanted to stand up to Hitler because they thought war was immoral?
If you are protecting the lives of innocents, WHY NOT?Why not fight?

i am a non sectarian full gosphel christian, i believe we cant support war but pray over those who are leading the war only in this way God will open their heart and mind on things that should be done for the benifit of all. Christians support Peace and love not war.
Though God put leaders in each country and its their job and resposibilty to keep that country safe from invasion so in case there is christian soldier or leader its not that they are supporting the war but they are just doing their duties that was assigned to them.

I am a christian, (not active tho). I hope the soldiers come back home. For all veterans, I appreciate and give all the support for what they do and what they have done. Defending for our Country is one thing. However, I don't support a war over Greed and Power.
Why does man have to settle with bloodshed??

I'm a Christian and I do not support a war. Particularly when it comes to a piece of land or some gross and misbegotten ideology of a cretin killing in God's name.
War is good for nothing, but the undertaker.
No contention is solved with violence.

I am not going to say I am a christian, I am far from it, but I do have some knowledge on that, and if you are a true christian, you would not support the war, because you would understand that it is not for man, to direct man's step. : )

I like to think of myself as a Christian, that is I hope I will be found acceptable when the time comes.
Supporting war sounds twisted. If you mean should Christians defend their country, their families, etc.? Then yes, they should.
No one should encourage war, nor hesitate to defend their country.

The Catholic Church supports the just war theory.
If you are being invaded, you must defend your country.
In World War II, we were attacked by the Japanese. That was a just war.
However, many Christians would say, what are we doing in Iraq? Iraq wasn't attacking us. Do we have to be everybody's police officer?
If we free the Iraqis from their dictator, who is next? Who will we next play police officer for? That is the UN's job.
