Jewels sounds like some nickname for men's private parts...sorry to say.

JEWEL MARIE is nice

may I also suggest

MARIE CELESTE
MARIE ADRIANA
JEWEL MARIANNA

I agree that you should drop the s for Jewel Marie (which makes for a gorgeous name). Jewels for a nick name. Some other suggestions are Juli, Julia, Julian, Juliana, Julianne, Juliet. Hope this helps. (Love Jewel Marie)

I would stick with Jewel personally. Jewels is a common nickname, but as a name itself, I don't know if it works. My bf has a cousin named Jewel.

Change it to Jewel not Jewels unless you're going to spell it Jules.

I prefer Jules -- this spelling -- as a nickname for Julia, Juliet or some other formal version. Bear in mind that no matter how you spell it, it will still SOUND like Jules anyway, and as a given name, this is almost exclusively considered male (Jules Verne, for example).

NO. It's too odd. How about Juliette, Julia, Julie? You could then call her Jules as a cute nickname.

Is it good? Nope.

Sounds like a stripper from the 1920's.

No. Name her Julia or Julianne -- you can call her Jules for short, but at least she'll have something dignified.
