My bf does the same thing. I find it a little strange because I'm not used to men doing stuff like that. He explained to me that he just didn't like body hair, which is fine but I really don't have a problem with it. I think we should be comfortable with our bodies & if thats what he has to do to feel comfortable, thats fine.

I shave everything too (arms, legs, chest, etc...). I am from the Northeast and a lot of people here look at me like I am weird for shaving. A lot of guys that I played baseball with shaved their bodies too. It isn't weird. I have traveled all over the US and I find that out west it is a little more common for guys to shave their bodies.

Unless they're body builders or competitive swimmers, divers or wrestlers, not many. Some do because they're embarrassed by an unusual amount of body hair, and some just because they like the smooth-body feeling. And then there are the few that are making a few bucks as "child" prostitutes (one man in Arizona was arrested earlier this year for posing as 12 year old--he's really 28).

I know one guy (bike rider) who shaved his lower legs, and another (body builder) who sometimes shaves his arms. Other than that I've never seen anybody do it. I think it's very rare. However, whatever works for him. His body, his hair.

It's normal. Just because not every man in the world shaves their legs and arms, doesn't mean it isn't normal.

I get a full-body wax (pubes included) every two months at this Vietnamese-run place. It's sort of expensive but it's definitely worth it.
To answer your question: Not too many guys do this. I don't know anyone else who does this except me.

Well, I don't shave my arms or legs, but it is perfectly okay for him to do that. It doesn't make him any less straight, or manly. Anyways, I personally prefer my men and women shaved, so consider yourself fortunate.

It certainly seems a little odd. I think lots of men would like to hair-free but we just weren't born that way, so shaving seems abnormal.
