It'd be great to see, for sure - youngest coach in the league doin' a major turnaround like that!

They've got a way to go, but Kiffin has the Raiders heading back to respectability for the first time since Gruden left. They may not make the playoffs this year (I don't think they're quite there yet), but they've got a good group of young core players to build around, and it seems they finally have a coach worth a darn. And the work Cable's done with the Oline is nothing short of a miracle!

Just hope they stick with Culpepper and don't go back to McCown once he's healthy.

As a Raider fan, I am cautiously optimistic given that we should have beat the Broncos and were ahead of the Lions late. That means we could easily be 3 -1 and if we would have held on and beat Detroit, 4 - 0. Unbelieveable!!! Playoffs though...I don't think so. Just being honest. The Raiders actually drew the toughest schedule this year based on their opponents last years winning percentages. But think how encouraging an 8 - 8 record would be moving into next year!!!!! However, tanking the season and getting the number one overall pick again would be sweet and then draft Booth out of USC or that kid from Hawaii.

Definitely possible, especially since 2 playoff teams from last year (San Diego and Denver) are struggling, somebody has to fill those slots, why not the Raiders.

But they better keep Dante Culpepper in the starting line up.

Don't know if the Raiders are ready for prime time yet. They need to find a passing game. 12 to 15 passes a game isn't much for an NFL team. Still if they beat the Chargers and the Chiefs it would make my season.

LOVE 'EM OR HATE 'EM BUT THE RAIDERS HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF MAKING THE PLAY-OFFS, THAT'S IF KIFFIN PLAYS IT SAFE AND LEAVES McCLOWN ON THE BENCH. CULPEPPER PROVED THAT HE DESERVES TO BE THE STARTING QB UNTIL RUSSELL LEARNS THE PLAYS. RHODES JUST FINISHED HIS SUSPENSION, SO WE'LL BE SEEING MORE OF HIM ALONG WITH JORDAN AND FARGAS. SAN DIEGO AND KANSAS ARE STRUGGLING THIS YEAR AND THE ONLY TEAM THAT I SEE THE RAIDERS HAVING TROUBLE WITH WILL BE THE COLTS. IF THE RAIDERS KEEP MOVING THE BALL AND CULPEPPER STAYS HEALTHY...I DO BELIEVE THE RAIDERS MIGHT SNEAKING IN THIS YEAR.

Over 1/2 of one percent? That's not really all that exciting to be honest with you.

man that would be the story of the year, considering how bad they were last year. it's just good to see them playing hard, and actually scoring some points.
