Unfortunately, there are people who would not vote for Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon, people who would not vote for Barack Obama because he is half black, people who would not vote for Bill Richarson because he is Hispanic and people who would not vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman. This is a sad set of circumstances, but the truth.

I would vote for a Mormon, a woman, or a black man. I wouldn't in this election, though. Romney, Clinton and Obama aren't electable in my opinion. They would be horrible choices.

I love it that people are already saying that if you don't vote for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton you hate women and if you don't vote for Senator Barack Hussein Obama you hate blacks.
These are the same people who call Secretary Dr. Condoleezza Rice "aunt Jamima" and Justice Clarence Thomas "Uncle Tom".

Turn it around and you'll see there are plenty of people so stupid they'll vote for Hillary just BECAUSE she's a woman (because GOD knows she has NO other qualifications, anyway!) or for Obama BECAUSE he's black... etc.
Whatever happened to voting for the person who will actually DO the best job and is QUALIFIED to do it?

Hey, if SOME people won't vote for Hillary because she's a Woman; or Obama because he's Black, or Edwards because of his Haircut, or Richardson because he's Latino- then they CERTAINLY can dream up the Excuse for not voting for Romney -because he's Mormon! :)

There are a group of people who are so committed to their religious beliefs that they will vote against Romney because of his religion. It is a sad commentary on religion.
