Well for my lifestyle I would definitely rather loose my legs, I honestly don't do anything that I couldn't do from a wheelchair (except be the goto guy when someone needs something off the top shelf...). My arms on the other hand are in constant use, because I program as a hobby and eventually a career.
And as far as prosthetics go, I think it would be easier to adapt to prosthetic legs, although there are some fairly recent breakthroughs with prosthetic arms that might make it the better choice to loose.

I would rather loose my legs. I would rather loose my legs than my arms because with out your arms you could not share your story. You could not write down your experience of how you lost arms in the first place. You could not explain how it has made you who you are today. I suppose you could share your story out loud but through time it changes. It is like the telephone game you play when you are a little kid; you say something in the beging and by the end what you said is compleatly turned around. If you were to loose your legs you would not be as free to travel the world to see places on foot that you could not see otherwise. Bottom line i would rather loose my legs.

live with out legs
1 you get better parking
2. you get a friggen scooter
3 scooter/ metal legs wich are badass
4. if you dont have arms you cant do the uh...pocket pool. and im sure if you dont have arms or legs your not gonna see that much action. so it is needed, (for guys at least)
5. legs=****** awesome fighting you can do a drop kick and the guys friggen leg will shatter.
6. w/o arms, you cant really play baseball. and everyone loves baseball.
7. you dont need legs to use a computer or play video games, or change the channel, or drink a beer. (guy thing again)
8. in every TV show ive ever seen, the wheel chair guy, has a hot girl pushing him around.
9. you can stand forever with metal legs, and with a wheel chair...you never need to find a seat, you skip lines at theme parks, and hell....you can go off ramps and **** with a wheel chair, do extreme wheel chairing, in half pipes and stuff. (lets see a guy with metal arms go off a ramp with those things).
10. what..the other 9 werent enough?!?!?
if you were talking like one arm..only one arm!
id rather lose my arm, because can you imagine the posiblities of having a metal fist? one punch knock out baby!
god im awesome.

Live without legs. People with wheelchairs get around decently enough these days but there are no provisions for folks without arms. I'm not even sure what provisions could be made. So at least without legs I could use a wheelchair and still get around ok.

Personally, without legs.
I'm thinking of all the things that you can use your arms and hands for. I guess I could learn to use my feet over time but I'd prefer to have my arms and hands.
However, I am aware that folks without arms can lead as fulfilling a life as they are prepared to live; and are very articulate with their feet and legs.

I would rather live without legs, because with no arms, you can't pick anything up, but with no legs you can pick thinks up, and move around if you have a wheel chair.

Assuming prosthetics weren't available, I'd rather have my arms. If I lost my legs, I'd obviously have to move from a two-story house, but I could get the car adapted and use a wheel chair for general mobility.

Legs. I think there is more you need your arms for. Although living with mechanical arms might be easier than living with mechanical legs or in a wheelchair...

legs because you need arm for almost everything also you could use a wheel chair to get around and wear fake legs so it wouldn't be too bad
but in the long run i would prefere not to loose any of my limbs because i am very grate ful for the ability to have them

I pick neither, because you didn't say we couldn't. I definitely wouldn't want to go without my arms because that's where I'll be making money (I'm sort of an artist in the making... I suppose), but I also don't want to go without my arms because I like to drive and I don't want to depend on anyone.
