Owh, baby is not a clump of cells before they're born. Its a human being. Don't abort it, its a part of you too. You'll love him/her.
Everything can be positive if we have good attention. So, raising a baby is a good thing to do. :-)

well first off! its not just a clump of cells the whole time you are pregnant...do you think once the cells hit air the baby turns into a person?? and has arms, legs, fingers, toes, a mouth and all that good stuff and can even breath on its own???? it might be just a clump of cells for about 2-5 weeks because at 6 weeks my baby had a very strong heart beat. and when a person has a heart beat its a living breathing sould that god created!!!! if people dont want to have children they should keep their legs closed or use protection!! in some cases abortion maybe the only other option...such as when having the child could kill the mother! but it shouldnt be used for women and young teenagers who think they are grown enough to have sex but not grown enough to raise a baby that is produced by sexual activity. people get put in jail all the time for murdering someone, a grown person, just because its a baby and still inside the mother doesnt mean its not a person and doesnt have feelings too!

A child is a cluster of cells until it hits 6 weeks, it then has a heart beat so there for it is alive just not breathing on the out side yet.

Now i dont disagree with abortion completely if it has something to do with a seriouse medical condition that could potentially harm mother or child and if rape has happened and pregnancy has occured.

But when it comes to two people having unprotected sex due to their own stupidity or the fact that they dont care if they are wearing protection at the time, I dont see why an innocent child should suffer for the mistakes of the parents. Doesnt that child deserve the right to live and have some one love it weather or not it is their biological parents?

I think that children not wanted due to the parents not wearing protection should be adopted and give a chance to have a good life with people who will care and love the child like it deserves!!!

Abortion is only wrong if you feel it is wrong. It is not illegal but in many aspects it is immoral. The minute the baby is concieved it is alive. I don't know if there is a soul, or complex thoughts and feelings. I remember an episode on House. He considered the unborn child a fetus, not a human child. He had to perform surgery and open up the uterus. The "fetus" grabbed his finger, it was kind of a touching moment.
To me it is wrong to have an abortion because I would not be able to live with the guilt I would feel. Other people can either handle it, pretend to handle it, or regret it later in life.

it depends on how a person was brought up and the teaching he or she had. Many see it as wrong to have an abortion, others may see at as a normal thing to do. Personally, i think it is wrong to do that. A life is a life, not matter if the baby has been inside the mother for less than 3 hours....i would never support abortion, unless there is a good reason to have one.

You were told wrong. Babies are only "a ball of cells" for a few days- by the time a woman realizes that she's pregnant, the embryo has gone far beyond that stage. The heartbeat starts at only 22 days, and from 8 weeks, all the organs are there.

Added- General rule of thumb with statements about unborn babies, pregnancy, etc. is consider the source. If the person/organization benefits from continued abortions... best to get a second opinion.

Wow...you really put yourself out on the limb by asking that question!
In my opinion abortion is just plain wrong! But then everyone has there own opinions and thoughts on what is right and wrong. If I had the power I would completely diminsh the word abortion from the planet but I dont. All people are going to do what they believe is right. Our arguing about it is not really gonna change peoples minds. Maybe some but definately not all.
So bottome line...abortion is wrong (in my opinion) and it shouldnt be done at any time!

For argument's sake, let's put aside concerns about murder. Have you read what an abortion is like? It's not natural, it's not healthy and it's brutal. Read a description of a D&C. The thought makes my skin crawl.

My body was designed to carry a baby and give birth (and many other things). I was not designed for abortions. Abortions are not healthy. I'm sure, as with any medical procedure, the benefits sometimes outweigh the risks.

At any rate, the government can stay out of it.

People ought to practice responsible sex, and that goes for both partners. Biologically, I don't think the embryo/fetus cares one way or another. Metaphysically, it depends on your belief system. I believe it depends on the mother's situation. One ought not to bring a child into the world unless the child is wanted and the parent(s) can provide for it with love and all the other basic needs. There are plenty of potential adoptive homes out there for a healthy newborn; not so many for one whose mom abused substances, who has disabilities or for that matter who is not white. Anyone who's had an abortion will tell you that almost any other method of birth control is preferable, both from the physical and psychological standpoints.
