i want to buy a reptile or amphibian or anything other then a dog or cat i have the money to buy something i want something thats fun and cool

I would get a snake. Very easy to take care of. Very calm. I loved my snake. I would let him out all the time. And it is col watching them eat!!

Turtles... but not one you find in the wild.. go to a pet store.
