What does an IP address tell you about someone?

By itself.. not much...

It could tell you where they are located.
It could tell you what provider they use.
It could tell you whether they have a static or a dynamic IP.

If it is a static domain then you could find out more info.

Their hair color, age, mothers name, fathers name, ...lol....
eh, like the one guy said...just the service provider, and where they are then its up to them to spill the rest which they usually do.
