Hello. :)
Well, here's my dilemma-
tomorrow my school is having a "decade day" for spirit week.
Aaaaand I didn't really have any 50's, 60's, 70's or whatever's clothes.
However, my sister did give me a Jinbei, so I was planning on wearing that to school for tomorrow.
But I needed a more specifics for the time period of which the Jinbei was generally most commonly worn...
Won't someone help me please? :)

I'm sorry if it sounds like a stupid question... ;;;;

Thank you so much!!! :)

Jinbei are not a dated fad like bellbottoms for example. Jinbei have been worn since their origins and have not become outdated, because it is traditional clothing.

As for its origins, it is actually disputed. Some suggest that it came from jinbaori worn by samurai. Samurai first enter Japanese history in the Kamakura Period, but continue through the Tokugawa Period.

The second theory is that it was first made by someone who's name was Jinbei. This one seems like a weak theory, in my opinion, so the origin from samurai is more probable. Also, saying "Tokugawa Period" will be better for your "decade day", unless it needs to be recent, or if it actually has to be dated by a decade, because jinbei span WAY more than a single decade!

The jinbei is traditional clothing and it is still worn even today. Made from cotton type material, it is more frequently worn during the summer months. I remember when I first saw it, it resembled a pyjama set and I wondered if it was the custom for them to wear their pajamas on the road. However, some people wear it out while some wear it in the home. I suppose it depends on taste and the pattern of the material. It is just like a pyjama shorts set except I don't recall any buttons. It is either pull over head or a wrap.

I am sure if you google it you can find more information. You can wear yours and say it is presently worn indoors as house attire!

Jinbei is a kind of traditional Japanese old fashioned Pajamas(or a loungewaer) worn by men and boys during the summer.
Some people say it was commonly worn the end of the Edo period to Showa period.
My dad still wear it as a Pajamas, but my 2 brothers don't even have a Jinbei.

enable me wager AVG huh. the reason of a virulent disease isn't the browser, the browser is dumb, you may get a virulent disease utilising any browser, utilising any antivirus software, on any OS platform. you have got multiple varieties of undercover agent ware that are on your computing device that spybot did no longer locate, or multiple antivirus courses that are competing for use(each thinks the different is a virulent disease). in case you attempt a working laptop or computing device which you realize is clean, and you have the same velocity concern, it must be that your ISP desires to repair this, if it is in basic terms your computing device, this is advisable to hire a expert to look at it.
