I use my AIM on my cingular/AT&T phone all the time. If you have the plan where you pay for unlimited im pretty sure you get that free. But I don't so it is 10 cents a message.

I work for AT&T the new Cingular and AIM will only use text messages, except when logging in to the service then it would use a little bit of data. Maybe ten cents worth.

i dont think u pay data charges...u will pay text messgaing charges though....and if they send a pic through aim than u will be charged data as well as a MMS

Never trust what someone on here will tell you about what you may or may not be billed for on your plan. Only your provider can answer for sure. There are just too many options out there.
