as far as I'm concerned Canada does NOT need to go there.

We did not start the war.
We bailed out the states before and got no thanks so why would we do it again?

I however have friends there fighting and I think it's complete BS.
americans started the war- they need to finish it- themselves.

Canada is a member of NATO. Afghanistan is a NATO organized mission and therefore as a member of NATO Canada has an obligation to send forces.
