Not even if it means loosing the super bowl. The Packers will not be the Packers without Brett. When Brett retires, then maybe they might try and get Peyton. But I think Peyton will stay where he's at. Just like the Packers are Brett's team, the Colts are Peyton's team. No trade.

Not even if Brett Favre was 50 years old and playing would they trade him for an MVP QB in his prime. Favre IS Green Bay. I personally though that he should have retired two years ago, but he's sure is showing me this year. You don't trade a player that popular. No way the Colts ever trade Peyton Manning either, even if he plays until he's 50...

Peyton is worth much, much more than Brett Favre on the trade market. If the Packers could ever get that deal, I'd certainly hope that they'd do it in a second.

Never happen! No QB could carry a team on his shoulders like Brett has over the years (and will have to in the next couple seasons). Not to mention Manning could never deal with the cold in Green Bay after being a domeboy for so long.

HaHa. It'll never happen. If the offer were on the table, the Packers would be fools not to jump on it. Indy would be just as stupid if they offered or accepted a ridiculous deal like that. Favre has what...1, maybe 2 (and that's a stretch) seasons left? Manning is just hitting stride.

In a heart beat. Yes! At least I would. Brett is a hero, but Payton has "more miles left" on his "tread". Sports trades are not about the past...you are betting on the future!!!

Manning might want to provide the Bears about 3 or 4 extra wins than known, Brees might want to upload yet another win. Favre and Brady, the wins might want to pass down for Chicago. Cutler is a quite sturdy QB on a foul team no line or operating sport and slightly decrease than worry-free receivers.

as much as I love Peyton, I like Farve too. He is the Packers...I think that he is nearing the end of his career and will remain at Green Bay. The Colts would be stupid to trade Peyton. It just won't happen.
