It is definitely worth all of the money. It is like a go cart with a BMW engine. Build qualities are top notch and it has one of the highest resale value out there. Another good thing about it is that all of them are unique and you will never find one that is identical to another. A test by Edmund's also shows that the Scion has build quality that doesn't even compare to Mini. It is actually under priced for what is should cost. In my opinion, its worth every penny.

As you know, the Mini Cooper's pedigree is that of the BMW brand, so it will have a drivers car feel. A Mini Cooper is worth the money if you like a small car that is very capable on back roads and in the city. I don;t believe any auto is more capable of upgrading and customizing parts than the Mini brand. You can actually get the parts, as compared to Mazda's accessories, the dealer network is weak Toyota's . Scion has the ability to customize and outfit the Scion, but not to the extent of the Mini.

If you read the Mini heritage and story, Scion is not in the same league as a Mini, only in price. The compromises baked into the Mini add to the distinct performance, racing legacy and quirkiness of the brand. Long since, generations of Mini drivers have discovered on a first hand basis how this motoring fun can bring out the mischievous kid in you. Mini.
