I'd like to ask a question of those of you who like to hit the report button. And the ignore button for that matter.
Would you just quit?
Grow up, grow some skin. If you can't give AND take, why don't you find something else to do?

It's people like Boss here and Lindsey G who use violations as a weapon because they can't post good arguments.

The only posts I report are absolute unnecessary individual slanders and those which advocate, or could cause harm to others, such as pedophile activity. My skin is pretty thick and it takes a lot to rile me. I have yet to use the Ignore button, and I don't make my content private either.

I agree. Although I don't report anything the only things I understand is when the question is blatantly racist or hateful and just utter nonsense. I usually find those questions somewhat funny and usually be just as insulting in my answer. But I digress. If it is just something disagreeable then to report is nothing but cowardice.

Those who complain the most about "offensive remarks" are often the biggest slimers themselves. They just can't take what they dish out. Not that I have spyware installed on everyone's pcs, it's just a rule of life. Those who claim to be the most tolerant are also the most easily offended.

I agree. I posted a perfectly legitimate question and I just received a Violation E-Mail Notice. Some people just can't take dissenting opinions.

I agree. LIberals are the ones who preach "free speech", but what they really mean is that specch is only free when it coincides with their agenda. Any other speech is branded as "hate speech" "homophobic" or "biggoted"... must be more of that "fairness" i keep hearing about...

I'll report what I feel is worth reporting.

The report button is there for a reason. There are rules on this site and whether you like them are not you cannot change them.
