Yes a negative multiplied by a negative is a positive!
Example: -3 multiplied by -5 would be +15.

[ Negative multiplied by negative = positive] example: (- 4) *(- 4) = 16
[ Negative plus negative = negative] (-4) + (-4) = -8
[ Negative plus positive = positive, if the larger number is positive] example (-5) + (8) = 3
