Think of meanings first, like if you want your son to have a strong, manly name, look in a baby book what name means strong and manly, and etc.
I have always loved the name Micah for a boy. Lance. Dylan. Calan.
I like strong sounding names, nothing gay like Parker or Porter or Cody or Brady, ick.

Put a bunch of names in a bowl and pull out one.
If your christian open the bible and point. the first name besides Jesus that comes up is the new name or open to a chapter and use the chapter name.
