wow that was soooo long ago
i remember i was in a bedsit so i must of payed my rent and bought food....it scared the poop out of me having to watch my money...i was only 15 at the time...ran away from home and lied about my age!

I bought a huge king size down comforter for my bed. Since then I have added satin sheets, six pillows, a feather matress topper and a microfleece blanket.
I have the most decadent bed and thats pretty much it. I own nothing else of importance bought with my wages.

Brand new school clothes.
I was 16 yrs, family of 7 and the oldest; first time I ever had more than 1 new outfit and I bought 3!

Shoes, I left home with just a suitcase so only had tennis shoes. My first job was in a factory and required hard toed shoes so I cashed my first check in the shoe store.

2 went to mum
2 went to pay my bike
and i frittered the other 2 away down the pub...
a gallon of petrol was 23p
a pint of newcastle brown ale was 19p
this was 1974 ish

HAHAHAaa... uh. I spent it on a first payment for my horse. Then I finally bought her. Then I sold her so I could get a car.
Wow, that sounds harsh.
Miss her loads though!
