Well, Melanie (awww...that is my sister's name!!) I just did some checking and Lebanon is 4,036 sq miles, which is slightly smaller than the 48th smallest state, Connecticut, which is 5,543 sq miles. Hope that helps!!

The surface area of Lebanon compared to the United States is 1/10th of a percent. Which is .1%. In other words, think of a dot the size of .1% and drop that dot in the United States.

its like a drop in a sea!!!!!
well in lebanon u can drive 2 hrs at
max to reach the limit line in any direction
amazing, and the mountains are near the sea
and we can ski and scuba dive at the same time

Well would you just look at Hasa ! He's lost it completely !
You already have the area but to get it into context it's approx 130 miles by 35 miles.with the sea on one side & snow capped mountains on the other....just a thin strip of land running down the Eastern end of the Mediterranean with Syria to the North & East & Israel to the South.
Now Hasa ....nice deep breaths mate!

you can drive across the whole country in 6 hours..its like a very small state in the US... Lebanon would fit in louisiana about 4 times :)

compared to the largest city in the US:
Metro. New York's area is 54520 sq. miles so NY is 13.35 times larger than Lebanon.
compared to the smallest state in the US:
Rhode Island's area is 1,045 sq.mi so Lebanon is 4 times larger
Connecticut is the third smallest state 5543 sq.miles...which is 1.35 times larger than Lebanon.
