I have 2 gigs of Adata ram and 2 gigs of G skills ram. When i put them in my computer, my computer detects only 3.25 gigs. What is going on?

Depends on where you're viewing ram from. If windows is running, then remember that windows sequesters a chunk of ram for windows. So what you may be seeing is just the leftover. If you want the real answer, go into setup before loading windows and see what's there.

Good Luck

No, it is not because Windows "sequesters" some of it. 32 bit versions of Windows will not recognice 4GB of RAM, you have to have a 64 bit version.
