You've grown apart ... it happens. You can still stay in touch and be "friends", just not like before.

So maybe it is time to move on. People do out grow each other. It happens. Nothing to be ashamed of. I'm not saying just dump your friend, but at least sit down with your friend and talk about it. Chances are, he/she is having a lot of the same feelings as you are.

that is how my friend and i sort of are. we had been absolute best friends since preschool, but now we are not so close anymore. people change and that is sad. now i have my own group of friends, and she has hers, though sometimes our groups merge. we still talk just not as much. but since we don't talk that often we have many things to talk about because we need to catch each other up on wht is going on w/ each other. one thing that really works, is to bring up old things that you used to do together, or some old memories. i really hope that things work out w/ you and your friend. good luck
