Our life is easy now in "instant" America. People have learned to play the system and know all the ways to receive freebies. Than, since they are not responsible for their own medical bills they reproduce in larger numbers.
There are still ambitious people in our society, but the unmotivated are beggining to outnumber us.

Work ethic has gone to pot because there is no control in the schools anymore. The kids dress however they want and show no respect for the teachers. So, when they go out to apply for a job, they don't care how they look. This carries through to when they finally get a job and go to work. They don't learn respect at home or in school anymore, so they do not respect their superiors at work. It seems all they care about it getting a pay check but don't want to work for it.

I think so many Americans are disillusioned in the American Dream. I am not so sure why....I know in a great deal of our youth starting out at the bottom and working up holds no appeal. To a point I do understand...Everything is very expensive. To live in a decent neighborhood you have to make a decent salary...There are so many factors in the death of the American Dream...Good question..I shall be pondering on that this evening.

People are spoiled. I know alot of people blame the younger generation, but I work with 40 and 50 year olds that hide behind union representation and will do nothing unless they are forced. They have no initiative on their own.
It is sad to think that they are raising kids themselves that will probably be worse.

It got outsourced to China.
When people have no job security, and the jobs that they do have barely pay a living wage because they have to compete with sweatshop labor in the global south, why should they have any pride in their work?
I say, bring jobs at all levels, white collar, blue collar, and green collar, back to the United States.

I dont know. I am beginning to be lazy too. I think it is all the entertainment in people's own home. They dont have to get up and go anywhere. I would like to not be lazy though. I am making my grandfather sick. He was a carpenter in the union for years and built his own houses after work every night.

Rich folk blk or white minority or not spoiling these children. I got everything I wanted untill I was 16 from then on If I wanted it I had to work for it. Parents dont care about raising thier children they just want to see them happy so if buying that new car shuts them up then so be it. but it prevents the child from learning that they have to work for everything. You can blame it on the games, but eventually it falls back on the parents they probably baught and set the rules if any for the games. This is for anyone with or without kids. Please run your children and dont let them run you. Your killing society

It went out the door when xbox took over our teenagers...
Also, think about the parents that are raising our future workers and leaders. They're too busy to notice what's really going on.
