Caring is a manifestation that you belong, that you are part of a community. When you do not at all care, that is isolation. And it is never good for anyone.

sometimes i ask the same question to myself especially when i am hurting because i care for someone so much.
i care because being cared for is a wonderful feeling and expressing my care to someone means that i am being true to myself and doing what matters most.
i care about my ideals and my standpoint in life because they are what makes me myself.
i choose to care because i am not apathetic.
