Is there an easy way to make two lines converge into a single point in adobe illustrator?

Click on the Line Tool (it's under the Pen Tool). Holding SHIFT key down you can draw perfect horizontal, vertical and at 45 degrees lines. Start from the point where the two lines have to meet and draw two at 45 degrees diverging lines. If you want a different angle use the Rotate tool to rotate the lines.
