At a recent wedding which i was attending, which was in full swing, the father of the bride was out on the dance floor slightly drunk and dancing like a madman when he discovered that his wallet had fallen out of his jacket which contained a large amount of money ($2000 )to pay for the catering and a cheque for his daughter and son in law.
A frantic search by everyone failed to find the wallet which distressed the father and family. At the end of the night everybody put in some money to pay for the reception and the wedding party left for their honeymoon a little depressed and sad that someone had stolen the wallet which could have been any of there friends. The next day the cleaners found the wallet under some rubbish in the fake pot plant with all the money missing.
Two weeks later on the return of the couple from there honeymoon they went to their parents house to watch the wedding video with all their family. It was when they were watching the video part of the reception that the daughter picked up the fact that the wallet was lying on the edge of the dance floor and someone had picked it up and had moved to the side and was removing the money then hiding it under the plant.
It was then, when on closer inspection that the person who had stolen the money was no other than the GROOM.

Let's see, embarrassing things at a wedding:
1. Bride catching her foot on the hem on her dress and nearly tripping up the stairs to the reception room.
2. the ring bearer getting drunk on vodka laced J2O (an orange juice drink)- he was 11 years old at the time!
3. the groom putting his chair on the bride's dress. She had beading along the hem.
4. the happy couple's toddler son making himself really comfortable by the bar and causing a smell! The bride in a big white dress changing a poopy nappy!
5. the groom getting snogged by ....THE BEST MAN!
The bride wetting her knickers dancing and ripping her tights, which were loaned to her by her mother!
6.The bride being photographed by the bridesmaid drinking a pint of lager! The groom couldn't drink it, so gave it to his wife!
7. The bride's father falling asleep after imbibing a LOT of red wine. He woke up after a while, needed the loo and threw up down the stairs!
8.The bride and groom didn't have "a first night" in a hotel, so they went home. The bride woke up during the night to get a drink and fell down the stairs! She wasn't hurt, just laid on the floor, giggling!!!
Damn! I've just described MY own wedding!!Obviously, I DIDN'T have enough to drink or I wouldn't be able to remember!

Oh wow! Boy do I have a story for you!
On October 30th, 2004, my brother was getting married to his fiance (now his wife, obviously). They had just gotten through the vows and were starting the rings. My brother placed the ring on my sister-in-law's finger and said his thingy. While my sister-in-law was trying to get the ring on my brother's finger, she dropped it! The best man had to pick it up and the pastor (my pastor at church) said "That's what the best men are for, they usually just stand up here, but this wedding has a little action!". I was their junior bridesmaid, and I was 10, but it was really hard not to laugh at that and I didn't but the guests sure did.
Now, my other brother is getting married in May 08 so I hope that doesn't happen. I'm 13 now and going to be their junior bridesmaid.

The most embarrassing thing that happened at a wedding happened to me! It was my cousin's wedding and I had a dress custom made. It was a soft pink and it had a black jacket to it. Well they had one of those chocolate fountains and I was at it and I covered the pineapple in chocolate well I being a retard twirled it or something and chocolate got on the front of my dress! So my aunt was trying to get it out because it bugged her and her nails made marks in the dress so I had chocolate marks and nail marks. My mom had to get the lady who made it to fix it so I could wear it somewhere else thank gawd the marks and stain came out!

The flower girl had a temper tantrum and sat down in the middle of the aisle, refusing to move. Why people insist on including tiny children in formal wedding ceremonies, I'll never know.

MAYBE THIS WILL BE BETTER RECEIVED ANSWERED TO THIS QUESTION:
Picture it
Sitting in the chapel, my sister's getting married, they are in the midst of the reading of the vows
My cuz gives me a nudge and I look over to the grooms side and WOW there sits his aunt, picking up her son in his little tuxedo (he looked so cute) but he was like TWO OR THREE, and she pops out her breast and starts to breast feed right there.
I have no problems with moms breast feeding in public as long as there's a blanket or towel covering for modesty sake, so let me just clear that up real quick so nobody gets pissed and misunderstands my shock.
But I don't know which was worse, the fact that it couldn't wait for the ceremony to be over (it wasn't like he was being fussy, he wasn't) and her boob was just swinging free in the middle of church, and it was only a quicky ceremony that lasted maybe 15 minutes, or the fact that the child WAS LIKE THREE AND WALKING AND TALKING (!!!) AND THAT IS JUST WAAAAYYYY TOO LONG TO BE BREAST FEEDING.
It made great reception talk though.

I didn't see it but someone I know had a 'wardrobe malfunction' while taking part in a space hopper race. She made the best man's speech and the wedding video....

I was a bridesmaid once, I don't know what hit me but I came down with this serious case of the giggles right in the middle of the ceremony. I could not control myself no matter what, I felt like such a fool.
