He is being immature. This has happened to me before, and the only thing you can do is wait until he decides to talk things out like a mature adult. In the mean time, don't worry and go have fun with other friends. There isn't much you can do if he doesn't even want to communicate! You can't force him to talk or help work you guys' problems out.

Maybe he's just having a bad day. A lot of guys do. Maybe his girlfriend, if he had one, broke up with him. If you have started dating someone maybe he's mad at you for not telling him because he liked you too. Wait a few days. If this still happens, then get your message through. Even when he starts making noises talk through. Eventually, if you ignore him after all this, he will come to you. But only ignore him after you've tried a lot more. If you send him email, he might actually read it before deleting them. Give him a chance. He will come around. He probably just needs some attention, or maybe things aren't going so well at home for him.

I would ask him straight out why he is acting like that. Maybe he has a problem that really doesn't have anything to do with you, but he is pushing you away out of frustration.
Whatever the problem is, he doesn't have the right to be a jerk to you. If he continues to act like that, then I say that he's not worth having as a friend.

I know how irritating it is to be disliked for a reason you don't know about. He is being unreasonable and I think he gets off on you begging to know whats wrong. Find out whats going on through mutual friends, just don't ask him again. He is a prick and I really don't recommend continuing the "friendship".

Just ask him straight up what's the matter. Even though this may be hard, in person is the best way. Good luck!

Yes -- it seems like the the only way -- ask a friend of his what you did that pissed him off so much and then deal with it face to face with him (obviously, it's the only way you'll be able to anyway).....I'm sorry.

You should talk to a friend about this or think about what you did wrong to upset him.You can write him a note but I don't think he will read it.
