I usually get paid weekly on a Wednesday but today I checked my transactions and it didn't go through. Could this be because there was a public holiday on Monday and it will need an extra day for it to process? I can't call my boss up right now because he doesn't work during the day.

At my company pay is delayed one day if there is a holiday the week of the paycheck. Annoying, but it happens. It will clear the next day!
