Personally, I am way past tired of the media holding these four up for idolization and force-feeding them down our throats. I believe if the media would totally ignore them for just 30 days, they would eventually vanish from the forefront and be replaced by someone else, possibly even someone we could at least respect. Anybody agree?

I agree, but they mention these stars for the same reason as you do, cause everyone else is doing it. Most of the news people even report the reason for their story is everybody else is talking about it.

some other loser would only take their place, but if no one would watch or read about these people they would be forced to give us more important issues to occupy us. truthfully it will never happen though because too many people get too caught up in it all
