I see that some people don't understand the question as they are judging me like a moron would do. I'm just asking a question is all nothing more and nothing less.

Yup, always did. With one glaring exception... (BOY! does he have MONEY! wow!) they all were. "Poor" (money-wise) is not a bad thing. I've never thought it would be up to anyone but me to support me... unfortunately. ...smile....
I DO agree with Mrs. Thuston Howell III; who said "People who think money can't buy happiness don't know where to shop!" (My personal motto is"Money may not buy happiness but you give me the cash, and I'll work out my own problems.")
Having said that... being "poor" is not a disease, or even a social faux pas. It's a fact of life for over half the population in this country alone. The miniscule percentage that has the wealth is pretty inbred and self-protective. The beleaguered "middle class" has enough problems; they don't need me. I certainly don't intend to deprive myself of ALL THOSE MEN out there, just 'cause they're poor!
I can "do" for myself. I'm looking for a date, not a meal ticket.
(You know your previous Q about the "most ignorant "
sections? I rest my case... wow....)
Will you just look at who is calling whom a dumbass??

Yep I sure would.
It doesn't matter how much cash some one has what's important is how they use it to help others.
I always try to give to those less fortunate then myself.
poor people are more caring than people give them credit for, just because a person is poor does not mean they are not a good person.
Hell I would rather date a poor person than a rich ***** snob any day.

Yes, I would date somebody poor and I have dated somebody who was poor and they are just as good as anybody else because it is the inside that counts.

After almost 10 years and two kids, we're way past "dating."
But if things don't work out, or God forbid, he passes away? I bet you I won't again.
Edit: I believe he is worthy of love! No question about that! That's why I'm still here. BUT at least to be comfortable would be really nice. I'm NOT a gold digger, but I don't want to pay for stuff 80% of the time, because he's always broke. I don't mind helping him out, because I love him. He helps me out when he can-which isn't often-and it can be stressful. That's all.
I think at least ONE party in a relationship should have some sort of financial means. That's all. Presently, neither of us have much of anything.

I think some people forget this is P&S, where you're supposed to ask questions and get percentages of opinions.
I would as long as they are honestly trying. All I ever ask of anybody is to try to do your best. I can love anyone who is caring and decent even with no money.

Why not? I'm not exactly rolling in money. And just because a person is poor doesn't make them any less of a person who has money.
